About Tech Steps for Seniors

We're a small, independent site. We write step-by-step tech help for older adults and the grown kids who set up their phones.

Who we are

Tech Steps for Seniors is run by the same small team behind Plain English AI. We're not a company you've heard of, and we're not tech experts with fancy titles. We're people who've set up phones for our own parents, and we wanted better instructions.

How we check our guides

1. We follow the official help pages from Apple, Google, Samsung, Zoom, the FTC, CISA and AARP.
2. We link those pages at the bottom of every guide, with the date we checked.
3. We don't make up prices, ratings or numbers. If we can't confirm something, we leave it out.
4. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it.

How we make money

Right now, we don't. Later we may earn a commission when someone buys through some links. See our affiliate disclosure.
